Data Principal Statutory Rights
Under Chapters II and III of the DPDP Act 2023, data principals have fundamental rights regarding their digital personal data:
Request a summary of personal data being processed, processing activities undertaken, and the identities of third-party data fiduciaries and processors with whom data is shared.
Request correction of inaccurate or misleading personal data, completion of incomplete data, updating of records, and erasure of personal data that is no longer required for specified processing purposes.
Withdraw consent given for personal data processing at any point in time with ease identical to giving consent.
